Quiet Week

Newton's school had a PA day (Professional Activities) on Friday.  The teachers all get a day to write reports and as Newton didn't have any reports to write he didn't have to go into school but being the true professional that he is, he went in and  I went with him to tidy the classroom. 2 ½ hours later it looked heaps better.

Saturday we drove down to Toronto. It was a really nice day although still really cold. Went into the St Lawrence Markets. A substantial size and hectic with loads of people doing the weekly fresh food shop.
We then walked down to Second Cup for a coffee and to people watch.

The needle shaped building at the very back of this photo is the CN Tower, which we will climb in the warmer weather.

This is the Flatiron building a Heritage listed building. Built in 1891.

On Sunday we went for a drive to Uxbridge, a little town 25Ks north of us, it gently snowed all morning. It really is a pretty sight. No snow at our place though, we are keeping our fingers crossed for a heavy snowfall. 2cm forecast for Monday but we will have to wait and see. The weather changes so quickly.
