This place is just gorgeous, the pictures don’t really do it
justice. It was freezing and we got wet walking through the mist from the falls
but that’s half the fun. The view from the Skylon Tower is perfect, you can see
how much more the Canadian side has been developed compared to the USA side. The
Tower is 775 metres above the falls and it takes a minute to reach the top in
the bug elevator. The huge volume of water never stops lowing, however,
the falling water and mist create ice formations along the banks of the falls
and river. This can result in mounds of ice as thick as fifty feet. We will definitely
be going back to Niagara in the summertime.

The souvenir shop has a few photo opportunities outside, so
we took advantage of them.
We went through this house that has been built upside down. It
was quite weird walking on the sloped floor and seeing everything stuck to the
roof.
We also checked out the Hersey store. Didn’t buy anything it
was too expensive.
